Comfy UI: As of Apr, 2025, I believe comfy UI is the leading free AI image generation tool for designer. Not only its open-source and free. It has unlimited possibilities. You can train the tool to understand different interior design styles then upload an image of the facility and generate great results. It has a steep learning curve. If you are a professional designer and need a great brainstorm tool, comfy UI is your friend. If you are a DIYer who is looking for a quick solution to one offs, then this may not be your best option.

Stable Diffusion Web: Stable diffusion is a text to image AI tool widely used by AI enthusiast, AI artists and alike. Stable diffcusion web cuts all the installation efford and offers quick results. You can input things like japanese living room, or large kitchen with island, and voila, the image is generated. We recommend using chatgpt to craft your prompt first then use it in this tool. Or the result could be a little off.

getimg.AI: The paid AI space design tool in market is pretty much a tailor version of getimg. You can upload an image of the space, then use text prompt to describe the style that you are looking. Be concise with your prompt and you will be surprised.

Custom Electrical Code GPT (2024): We have tested this GPT on a few things and the answer is in-line with the ESA code. The best part of the tool is it’s intergrated in ChatGPT, there is no new learning curve if you already using ChatGPT. Use this tool at your own discretions, when in doubt, contact ESA to be certain.
