Dark blue is often associated with depth and stability. It symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence, faith, truth, and heaven. In interior design, dark blue can be used to contrast any other color in the home. In this Hamilton kitchen remodel, we used dark blue to contrast the white upper cabinets and the white countertop.

Before

We didn’t get a chance to look at the original kitchen, it was removed prior to our project.

After

This kitchen design was focusing on complimenting the existing colour choices that the home owner chose. Wall color of existing space is dark blue, and the flooring is rustic brown. We need to chose cabinet color that would compliment both. We used dark blue under cabinet to tie it with flooring, and used white upper cabinet for contrast.

We used vein countertop and backsplash for this kitchen. The vein adds strong accent to the kitchen and the detail is beautiful flow through.
